Ready to Go

All of us now in the family have our passports and we can now visit my father like what I’ve said in my older post. We can now visit him anytime this year but my mother want it to be scheduled on Christmas vacation, so all us are available and able to go. I’m just a bit worried since the culture there is different especially for women. Like upon arrival to the airport we need to wear a piece of cloth that covers our face?! Half body?! I just don’t know what exactly it is and how it should be worn.

Anyway on the other hand, I hope Tita M and I planned will follow as we are both excited talking about our trip. Were just not sure where we are going, International or Domestic. Were considering going to Hong Kong but were both new to the place and were thinking we might get lost since both of us are first-timer. But many people said who already visited HK, as long we know how to read and speak English we can follow and ask directions to other people. And upon arrival to the airport there are lot’s of HK map freely given to first-timer visitors.

But if were still both afraid to get lost in foreign country, we may consider Ilocos, Bohol or Boracay to visit, since it’s much easier even for first-timer. We just want to travel and find time to relax. After my short summer escapade at Zambales I promised myself to visit more places that I never been and explore the beauty of our own.

Off topic: Since I’m still on vacation and waiting for my starting date to my new company, I find time to changed my onewickedsoul theme (after a year) and able to focus to the codes especially the CSS. Hopefully I can also change the layout for my luved site since this current theme was just temporary.

WOW Philippines

After my short escapade to Zambales and able to stride at the white and fine sand of Potipot Island, a thinking comes into my mind. And it’s how lucky we are to have number of beautiful places here in the Philippines (more about Philippines) that we Filipinos should be proud of. We have 7107 island and for sure each island has its own only one of its kind beauty and distinction. Everyday there was new place being discovered, a new place to visit and a new place that we should be proud of.

No wonder we able to compete with other countries major attractions and be a candidate for New 7 Wonders of Nature not just only one but four candidates. Were able to come into top 77 official nominees!

Through the own beauty of our nature were able to be part of that campaign. Now it’s our time to do our part, the responsibility to maintain, preserve and promote our own.

We spent almost 12 hours browsing different sites in the Internet, but do we already give time to vote our own pride? Spending 10 minutes voting our own wonders may return lifetime pride to us Filipinos. So common vote our own wonders at New 7 Wonders of Nature.

23 Days

I want to go somewhere else where I will be relax and pamper. I was lucky that my HR and Project Manager allowed me to use my vacation leave and that’s why I’m looking for a perfect place for me to visit. I want to take this long vacation before I start to my new job. I’m a bit nervous and worried as I got some feedbacks regarding that company that it was more serious than the usual worked I’ve done. And I’m back to regular and normal work schedule like going to work from Monday to Friday and having a rest day in Saturday and Sunday. I will miss my 4 days off and 4 days on schedule.

I want to visit some places that I’ve never been like Baguio, Puerto Galera and Boracay. But the problem is the busy scheduled of my friends and other people I want to come with me.

I already asked permission from my father to allow me to go to those far places and fortunately he allowed me. Maybe he realized that I need some break because since I was in college I never have this long vacation. Mapua have quarter semester system and were only given one week semester break and along with this is the enrollment. And during my college days my daily routine was school-home-church and nothing more. After I finished my college I immediately started to work and even I transferred to another company I was not given this kind of long vacation or break.

That’s why I really want to take this opportunity to have some relaxation before I go back to my busy and serious world.

Can you please help me to give some places I may consider visiting? I have 23 days left to visit those places.

By the way, we watched World Pyro Olympic 2008 last May 3, you can view my post here.
