Sorry for not getting online these past few days and not leaving comments on your blogs. I got sick (thankfully I didn’t have to be confined in the hospital). I hate our unpredictable weather, it make me so sick. Grrr!
I was on sick leave for almost one week. My office was very strict when it comes to their sick employees. They advised us not to go to office if we have fever, cough and flu. But mind you, I don’t have A(H1N1)!
I try my best to get enough rest so I can attend all the MTO’s I need to complete for may Claychelicious.
To some of my clients, sorry for some delays on your orders, I can’t force myself to do “claying“ while I’m not that okey, as it may reflect on the artwork.

I hate the way my last employer process my back pay. It takes them too long, while for other company it was only done within one month.
I resigned before the end of May and until now they keep on telling me they need to talk to some people, verify this and that… to many excuses! I keep on sending e-mails asking for updates but I’m getting the same response. All I want to know is to have an exact date release of my back pay and nothing more especially reading their excuses. Does it really take long to compute my back pay?
On the other hand, I’ll be starting my new job by August 4 and I still have a month to prepare myself, physically and mentally. I’m a bit nervous since I heard this company have higher expectation to their employees. Until now I don’t know which project I will be deployed and who my team mates are. I just keep on praying that God will guide me.
Well for now I’m just enjoying this long vacation before I start my busy life and back to my basic routine. I inquired at one art and craft workshop and I’m waiting if I included in the list. I hope I make it to reserve a slot since I’m very interested with this kind of craft.
Okay I’m sorry it’s just a short update, I’m not feeling well because I’m suffering this monthly pain, dysmenorrheal.

After completing and able to submit all my requirements I’m now busy with my pre-employment medical check-up. So I went to Health way Clinic in Shangri-La Plaza based on the schedule date given to me. I’m a bit nervous with those injections and other test that require using needles. But thankfully the nurses on the medical clinic were all nice and friendly and I’m able to ask questions if I have. I’m amazed with them since they deal with the life of people and already familiar with vital signs.
But some misunderstanding happened between my company nurse and the medical clinic nurse. An authorization letter given by my company nurse was not acknowledged by the medical clinic. But my company nurse keep on insisting that authorization letter was acknowledge before and only me encountered that problem. So I keep going back to Makati to Shangri-La just to talk personally with the people involved.
Even though I studied and worked in Makati, I’m still not familiar with all the places, streets and villages around it. I keep on walking and asking for directions but I still get lost! Hmm what a tiring day!
Fortunately my pre-employment medical check up was fine and I was given a clearance with a note that I’m fit to work. So I’m ready to work and hopefully to start soon.
Here are some reminders for pre-employment medical check-up:
1. You need to go to the clinic on the date specified by your employer.
2. Make sure to have a good meal and drink at least 4 glasses of liquid an hour before going to the clinic.
3. Bring necessary papers and previous medical records upon arrival so they able to know if you have other medical/treatment history.
