Sagada-Benguet-Baguio

I survived the adventure of Sagada! Yes! I’m back from my 4 days vacation trip to Sagada-Benguet-Baguio. I love the place especially the adventure I experienced with the company of my friends. Until now, we still have the hang-over of our expedition.

Sagada was too far from the city, if you know how far Baguio was from Manila then add 6 more hours to be in Sagada. But that long waiting hours inside the van was paid off upon seeing different breath taking scenery along the way.

Our tour guide prepared lot of activities from day 1 up to the last. We taken number of photos and those photos will serve as our proof on how happy we are during those days.

Our whole experience in Sagada was great and unforgettable and hoping it wouldn’t be our last “kabarkada trip”.

Ready to Go

All of us now in the family have our passports and we can now visit my father like what I’ve said in my older post. We can now visit him anytime this year but my mother want it to be scheduled on Christmas vacation, so all us are available and able to go. I’m just a bit worried since the culture there is different especially for women. Like upon arrival to the airport we need to wear a piece of cloth that covers our face?! Half body?! I just don’t know what exactly it is and how it should be worn.

Anyway on the other hand, I hope Tita M and I planned will follow as we are both excited talking about our trip. Were just not sure where we are going, International or Domestic. Were considering going to Hong Kong but were both new to the place and were thinking we might get lost since both of us are first-timer. But many people said who already visited HK, as long we know how to read and speak English we can follow and ask directions to other people. And upon arrival to the airport there are lot’s of HK map freely given to first-timer visitors.

But if were still both afraid to get lost in foreign country, we may consider Ilocos, Bohol or Boracay to visit, since it’s much easier even for first-timer. We just want to travel and find time to relax. After my short summer escapade at Zambales I promised myself to visit more places that I never been and explore the beauty of our own.

Off topic: Since I’m still on vacation and waiting for my starting date to my new company, I find time to changed my onewickedsoul theme (after a year) and able to focus to the codes especially the CSS. Hopefully I can also change the layout for my luved site since this current theme was just temporary.

WOW Philippines

After my short escapade to Zambales and able to stride at the white and fine sand of Potipot Island, a thinking comes into my mind. And it’s how lucky we are to have number of beautiful places here in the Philippines (more about Philippines) that we Filipinos should be proud of. We have 7107 island and for sure each island has its own only one of its kind beauty and distinction. Everyday there was new place being discovered, a new place to visit and a new place that we should be proud of.

No wonder we able to compete with other countries major attractions and be a candidate for New 7 Wonders of Nature not just only one but four candidates. Were able to come into top 77 official nominees!

Through the own beauty of our nature were able to be part of that campaign. Now it’s our time to do our part, the responsibility to maintain, preserve and promote our own.

We spent almost 12 hours browsing different sites in the Internet, but do we already give time to vote our own pride? Spending 10 minutes voting our own wonders may return lifetime pride to us Filipinos. So common vote our own wonders at New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Philippines New 7 Wonders of Nature Nominees
