I went to the bank last week to pay some bills and as the teller gave my change I step out of the bank and look for something to eat. While I was paying in the counter I noticed that there was something new with the 100 peso bill. And as I checked, I saw the UP Oblation logo printed on the 100 peso bill.

Then I remembered that it was once featured on the news that in commemoration of the 100th year of the University of the Philippines, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilpinas has issued 100-piso banknotes with the overprint of the UP Centennial 2008 logo.
Now I kept this 100 peso bill on my wallet as it was one of the collector’s items.
