WOW Philippines

After my short escapade to Zambales and able to stride at the white and fine sand of Potipot Island, a thinking comes into my mind. And it’s how lucky we are to have number of beautiful places here in the Philippines (more about Philippines) that we Filipinos should be proud of. We have 7107 island and for sure each island has its own only one of its kind beauty and distinction. Everyday there was new place being discovered, a new place to visit and a new place that we should be proud of.

No wonder we able to compete with other countries major attractions and be a candidate for New 7 Wonders of Nature not just only one but four candidates. Were able to come into top 77 official nominees!  

Through the own beauty of our nature were able to be part of that campaign. Now it’s our time to do our part, the responsibility to maintain, preserve and promote our own.

We spent almost 12 hours browsing different sites in the Internet, but do we already give time to vote our own pride? Spending 10 minutes voting our own wonders may return lifetime pride to us Filipinos. So common vote our own wonders at New 7 Wonders of Nature.

i’m so with #3 in getting into the new 7 wonders. about time the phils get recognized for something beautiful (and not manny pacquiao. hahahaha)

wow. my friend went to zambales too. i wanna go to! if only i had money and if i was allowed :(

Philippines has lots of beautiful places na hindi makikita sa ibang countries. And that’s we should be proud of. Nakakalungkot nga lang na ung iba sa mga spots na un ay napapabayaan na. :(

I think I’ve read this on your other blog aboit potipot Island right? But still for me Boracay is the best because thats the only island I’ve visited hehe. I agree Philippines have the most amazing island because it;s in tropical part of the world hehe.

hi rachel, lamo tama ka dyan masuwerte tayo dahil wala kahirap hirap ang kagandahan ng pinas :) natural eh ka nga. at ikaw rin maswerte dahil napuntahan mo ang ibang bahagi pinas. ako kukunti palang siguro dalawa o tatlo mga ganun lang.

Tama ka dyan ate chel. :) Napaka dali maglibot sa pilipinas. maraming magandang pwedeng puntahan. yung friend ko lang eh, nakatira sa ilocos, kaya kapag gusto nya mag swimming lalabas lang sya ng bahay at ayun, beach agad! hehe. white sand pa. :)

Oh my, why is the water brown sa medyo dulo dun sa first pic? :( Is the sand getting polluted na rin in some way? :(

I’ve heard of that new site where we can vote for a new nature spots in the world. Haven’t tried it but I will now that you’ve mentioned it. Thanks.

Chocolate Hills represent! I’ve seen it in person when I was little. We went to Bohol (province namin and we have a house there.. haha) tapos one day, mom woke me up to get dressed to visit Chocolate Hills. I thought the hills were actually made of chocolate back then, stupid thought. :P

naku, maganda talaga sa zambales, simple lang sya, I always go there since my classmates live there, mejo parte na rin ng Olongapo close na rin kahit papano, namimiss ko na mag punta dun. tama ka, maraming places sa Pinas na hindi pa natin napupuntahan, one day makikita ko rin mga yun. musta na, Che? so sorry, sis hindi ako nakakadalaw dito, always thankful ako kasi lagi mo ako naaalala. salamat ng marami ha? inadd ko na rin pala tong bago mong blog sa linkies ko. take care and God bless!
